- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I'm really glad I took my dog Lucy there. The veterinarian that runs the animal hospital has over 50 yrs experience in this line of work. Dr. Stricklin is one of the most kindest vets I've ever been to. He knows his stuff and he is very honest. He charges one third to half of what the other places charge. And the other place said Lucy needed her back teeth pulled and they didn't even do xrays to determine this. Dr. Stricklin said that her teeth were fine and just needed cleaned which he did while she had her ear cleaned and her wounds dealt with. He is the most honest veterinarian in Jefferson County. The staff that works there are very nice and knowledgeable about the products they have. Dr. Stricklin runs the animal hospital and is there to treat every single animal that walks in his doors. Other veterinarian hospitals don't have that kind of dedication. Most other animal hospitals will have their technicians do the check ups and cleanings and the main veterinarian does nothing. Well at Twin City Animal Hospital you can rest assured that your beloved pet is being taken care of by a veterinarian with over 50 years experience. I'm so glad I took Lucy there.
